Curriculum vitae
She grew up on the island of Paros and continued studying and working mainly in Athens. She has obtained her degree in Psychology and license to practice in Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and the title of Psychodrama therapist in Endohora (Inland) Institute, official member and recently presiding of The Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organizations (FEPTO) and The International Association for Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes( IAGP). She has also obtained certificates of several schools of psychotherapy, whilst discovering the wide spectrum of psychotherapy either in long workshops or in full training programs. Psychodynamic psychotherapy (group and individual), adlerian and health psychology, existential psychotherapy and Gestalt theory and practice.
She’s worked as a psychologist for four years at “Iris“ Day centre for the social reintegration of hospitalized patients diagnosed with psychosis and ran her own practice for three years after that. She has worked voluntarily for two years as a psychologist both for the Day Center of EPAPSY (Association for Regional Development and Mental Healthcare) and also for the Center of Social Solidarity of the municipality of Melissia in Attica, coordinating a social club for adults diagnosed with psychosis and various psychiatric disorders. She has also coordinated psychodrama group classes for students within the class of “ Choosing careers” , collaborating with the two highschools of Paros.
For the last 12 years she’s been a member of psychodrama, psychodynamic and adlerian psychology groups while being in her personal psychoanalysis /psychodynamic therapy for 8 years. She has been coordinating adult psychodrama therapy groups in Xanthi, Paros, Pireus and Athens, working mainly with local women and young people on social issues and stereotypes. She’s attended and coordinated psychodrama training seminars and group sessions in Athens, Agkistri (Greece), Berlin, Bonn, Pravetz and Stockholm. In 2016, she had the opportunity to share great responsibilities with Inland Institute on organizing and holding successfully the 11th FEPTO Conference: «Shading Light on the Shadows. Voicing the unspoken in psychodrama» and the 24th FEPTO Annual Meeting: «Cooperation in times of conflict and change: Challenges in Psychodrama training and practice», both held in Marathon , Greece and brought people from all around the world together sharing about Psychotherapy and Psychodrama.
Since 2013 she’s also been an active member of a co-partnership for solidarity and fair trade economy, called «Allios». There, she had the opportunity to organize and coordinate not only discussion groups for members and employees but also various art actions and interventions for people of vulnerable social groups, such as homeless , emigrant, affected by crisis or fire and/or flood, mentally and psychologically challenged.
Through covid times, she has returned on her beloved island, became a member in Balint groups, keeps working as a psychologist and psychodrama therapist and discovers new fields in permaculture farming.
