Scientific Work

During my career which spans in more than 30 years, in addition to the clinical work, I have:

• Been invited to participate in lectures; reviewed articles in international and national journals, as well as in conferences and funded projects; participated in various roles in European and national studies, and; made oral and poster presentations in international and Greek conferences and scientific meetings.
• Participated in committees determining primary health care and General Practice working positions.
• Published original research in international and national peer-reviewed journals.
• Authored chapters for Greek books.
• Participated in the development of the General Practice Guidelines for the Management of Depression, led by Professor Christos Lionis.
• Established and organised two annually-held summer-schools for General Practitioners on research methodology and clinical governance.
